I have configured the blog the point of at least being able to post and not have it look down right horrible. This means at least I don’t miss out on my writing ideas while I’ll take a bit longer to get the overall thing in shape.

So what’s left to do?

I need to activate and test all sorts of plugins and make sure they work. This includes not only comments or spam related stuff but some SEO friendly plugins as well. I’ll need to change the way new posts are titled, the way categories are blocked in robots.txt, all the good stuff. Actually Andy Beard has a great post regarding this in his Wordpress SEO Masterclass For Competitive Niches. Now all I need is to get someone to do it for me because I hardly have the time to play with templates all day.

Oh and yes, I will put some kind of an About page. Boasting always helps on one’s site I suppose. Sure enough everything will take shape soon, I am definitely committed and excited to start this.
