Darren Rowse is one of the most popular bloggers among, well, bloggers. His ProBlogger blog includes tips, news, ideas, and inspirations for bloggers and wanna-be bloggers. I’d say Darren is one of the most influential bloggers in his vertical as a post from him can get the word out fast to the rest of the blogosphere in his area, and can be enough of a trigger to spill over into other spheres as well.

I had a chance to briefly meet Darren this year at the Future of Online Advertising conference, as well as at his own ProBlogger meetup in New York which followed. I have to say, he’s a very nice, smart, and humble individual. It is no surprise people love reading his posts, they have a feeling of a community on his blog and his character truly radiates the same thing in person.
