Kangaroos should be slaughtered and eaten to help save the world from global warming, environmental activists say.
I think we’re in for a big fight between Greenpece and PETA if you read the story urging you to eat more kangaroos. Ah, too bad technically they aren’t kosher for me or I’d go for some nice shish kebabs.
For the record, I am not what most would call an environmentalist, I just like to make fun of a lot of crazy things out there. I am also not one to beat the drum on global warming as to me there seems to be a lot of doubt in how information is presented to us with some of the most vocal people also being the ones who warned us of a possible new ice age coming just 20 years ago. But this much I know: when I was growing up in Georgia (the country) the air certainly seemed to be much fresher than here and now in New York. So global warming or not, we sure have a lot of crap we’re breathing and I can tell the difference. So I am all for efforts for cleaning up the environment, if preventing global warming does that and freshens the air - real threat or not - I am all for it (so long as it doesn’t add 20% extra to my tax rates of course).

In response to the previous comment. Roos are a pest out here in Australia. They get in and eat the crops of farmers and are over populated and so are culled. Roo meat is extremely low in fat, cooks quickly and with the right sauce is spectacular. Yes they look cuddly, but taste even better. They’ll be killed anyway, so why not eat the meat? The aboriginals did it for thousands of years before us and there is nothing wrong with them.

Its not unsafe because they undergo more stringent checking for parasites than domesticated animals. Also, being wild, they are from populations that are not prone to being susceptible to diseases.
Ninjas are awesome too. All things should live for as long as they can. Are you going to stop eating merely to quench your bleeding heart?

kangaroos are unique and special we shuldnot eat them its not right it makes me sick 2 my stomach when horrible people eat all these kind of animals i eat meat and it kinda disgusting 2 me now because they have hearts and brains all dat stuff just like us i hope that people do more to keep our precious animals safer
