Dear All,
Previously, this page contained my long essay post on the emerging economics of Internet radio and how this vertical will be impacted by various royalty forms.
Unfortunately the timing of it may have seemed suspicious to a number of people. The truth is I didn’t time anything in any special way – I have been living and breathing this stuff for the last week or so during every waking moment, and then some. So I put it all down on my own personal blog while it was fresh in my mind.
The essay was specifically written in mind to be read by the music industry, by artists, labels and so on in the hope that I could explain the dynamics from a unique point of view. It was not a part of some media event, and didn’t ask anyone to do anything other than just understand.
In fact of course I still have it, and anyone in the music industry is free to contact me for the information. I am available in person in New York as well. Otherwise the post will be back in some days and weeks when parties no longer feel like it’s some kind of a timed marketing event.
We’re all in one boat ultimately, and that is even the point of the article. Thanks for visiting my site.

Once again, “If you can’t fight the message, fight the messenger.”
Keep the faith, Ari.
I would like to see a copy of your blog.

As would I, Ari.
Sent to both, gentlemen. Thanks for the interest.
