So it’s almost 4 weeks that I moved out to the Bay Area.
Weather’s nice, coffee’s good, and it only rained once for 5 minutes so far.
I finally found a more permanent office presence, and expect to be making a trip to Ikea for some new desks in just a few hours. Speaking of Ikea, I wouldn’t mind something better, say Knoll, but it’s wise to stay on the budget whenever possible. Ikea’s so cheap, that if times get better I can always upgrade later.
Is the new office space in San Francisco? San Mateo Downtown? Some nice Class A Building? Nope! It’s a weird 1 floor space that overlooks a sculptor’s garden in Burlingame!
I am not joking. After being a few blocks from Wall St in New York for years and paying through the nose, I don’t mind a laid back place where I can open the doors and get fresh air from the little “garden” overlooking bronze sculptures of frogs, bears, and other animals in whimsical poses. It’s California after all.
Now excuse me as I go get myself setup in the new space.

Any pictures for us?
